Always Keep an Eye on the One You Love presents a series of photographs from Pixy Liao’s ongoing Experimental Relationship series, capturing a charged intimacy shaped by place and performance.
Shot in the former apartment of Chicago mobster “Joey the Clown” and in a secluded cabin in Beacon, the works transform domestic rituals into scenes of suspense and tenderness. The title underscores the fine line between care and control. Balancing humor and restraint, Liao stages a subtle study of love as an arena of power, trust, and quiet psychological play.
