Art. Space. Life.At Florit, we advise on and place contemporary art in exceptional homes, hotels and singular architectural projects. Based in Mallorca, we work with clients locally and internationally.

About
Óscar Florit began his career in interior design more than twenty years ago, gradually developing a deeper engagement with contemporary art and the way it inhabits space.
He founded and directed L21 Gallery and is currently the director of Florit/Florit.
Over fourteen years as a gallerist, he has organised more than 200 exhibitions and worked with artists represented in major institutional collections and exhibitions, including MoMA, the British Museum and Centre Pompidou-Metz.
His experience across interior design, gallery direction and contemporary art gives him a particular understanding of how art can transform a space.
1. We listen
We begin by understanding the space, the project and the people who will live with the artworks. We can work through a site visit or from photographs, floor plans and project materials.
2. We observe
We consider the architecture, light, scale and character of the space.
3. We propose
We prepare a tailored selection of contemporary artworks and visualise them within the space.
4. We test
Whenever possible, we present the works in the space before acquisition, in order to assess scale, presence and relationship with the surroundings.
5. We install
We coordinate transport, installation and final placement.
